Helena Is a the princess of Sparta, she's so beautiful that people say she is daughter of Zeus.She is destined to become the Queen of Sparta. That means she has to learn to sewing and weaving and other womanly chores. But unlike her Twin sister Clyemnestra she wants a different path in life. Helena starts to take lesions from her brothers teacher, she learns the way of the sword, spear, and bow. She travels the world under a disguise.
The book is filled with the stories of the gods and is a lot of fun to read. The reader get to fallow her from birth to the ripe age of 14 in this book. This book could be for boys or girls but would probably be more liked in the hands of a girl.
A must read.
